Supporting individuals and couples with breakups, dating, anxiety, and relationship issues
You’re at the end of your rope trying to create the relationship you want (and you’re starting to question if it’s even possible).
-
The end of your relationship has thrown you into some of the lowest days of your life. Depending on the day or the hour, you feel sad, angry, ashamed, numb, lonely, guilty, relieved, tired, or despairing. And even if you initiated it, you miss them more than you can put into words.
You entertain secret “what if” scenarios of getting back together and check your ex’s social media then vow never to look at it again. You don’t know how you’re gonna get through this, and it all just feels like too much to bear.
-
Dating has turned into a part time job. You have an exhausting on-and-off relationship with the apps. You wonder all the time when you’ll finally be able to give up this project or if your person is even out there.
Or maybe you wish you could trade in your comfy pants for a cute date fit, but convince yourself you won’t be attractive unless you get in shape first or make other changes.
-
It’s going pretty well with the person you’re dating, and you’re so grateful. And yet, you can’t fully relax. You worry about driving them away. You find yourself overthinking things to death, and some part of you is waiting for it all to fall apart somehow. There may be more tension and conflict between you lately, and you want to get a handle on your anxiety before it gets worse.
Or you may be in a long-term committed relationship but you’ve come to recognize that life stress and anxiety is negatively impacting the quality of your connection and making it harder to resolve your conflicts together. You want to help protect your relationship by taking care of your emotional health.
-
You often think “how did we get here?” You’re fighting much more than you used to and getting caught in the same frustrating conflicts, leaving you incredibly defeated and drained. You know your arguments over dishes or scheduling run deeper than the issue at hand. You want to work out your problems, but your efforts only seem to backfire.
Or perhaps you’re not fighting that much, but you’re not that close either. Your conversations revolve around household and family these days, the never-ending tasks and to-do’s to keep your life afloat. You feel more like roommates than romantic partners, and you want more. But you question if the flame that began your relationship has been snuffed out for good.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
I can help you through the challenges of losing, seeking, or navigating romantic partnership.
Relationships can be the source of our deepest wounding but also our most profound healing.
In therapy with me, you can expect to feel seen, heard, and deeply understood in what you’re going through. Together, we’ll practice tools that will help you find relief in daily life. And over time, we’ll tend to the roots of the issue, which is ultimately what sets new growth in motion.
It might be hard to believe right now, but I’ve seen that painful dating and relationship experiences can be transformative. They can become doorways to powerful healing, learning, and guidance for fulfilling connection in the future.
But you don’t have to begin that process alone. I get it from the inside out because my own lived experience has taken me to these places. And in turn, it’s given me a fierce heart for the clients I work with.

The Unbroken
There is a brokenness
out of which comes the unbroken,
a shatteredness
out of which blooms the unshatterable.
There is a sorrow
beyond all grief which leads to joy
and a fragility
out of whose depths emerges strength.
There is a hollow space
too vast for words
through which we pass with each loss,
out of whose darkness
we are sanctioned into being.
There is a cry deeper than all sound
whose serrated edges cut the heart
as we break open to the place inside
which is unbreakable and whole,
while learning to sing.
